Chartered Institute for IT

BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT is the leading professional body for the IT industry with over 65,000 members in more than 100 countries, acting as an international body for a wide range of qualifications. We have been engaged as their development partner since December 2008, delivering their internal projects, establishing best practise and providing technical leadership.

Primarily we have provided a number of their customer facing web services and back office processing such as Member Profile, a new Job Application facility and a new event management and online booking system.

In 2009 BCS relaunched their Chartered IT Qualification (as reported here) and we were involved throughout the project, analysing the end-to-end process and developing the underlying systems to support the new members application; including online tracking and interview booking, fully automated integration with 3rd party qualification providers and BCS membership system.
